FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

Fundraising Committee meets together with the Treasurer to brainstorm and create fundraisers for the rest of the chapter. Fundraisers such as Bake sales, Collecting and Recycling cans, and fundraising events like Pieing and Executive officer are discussed in the committee before bringing it to the rest of the chapter.

MEMBERSHIP

In Membership committee, their purpose is to aid the Vice President of Membership with the current MC class during their road to wisdom. They do this by aiding in a MC's learning process, help set up special events, and aid in educating all brothers on who the MCs are and their progress. This committee also helps educate brothers with on what it means to be a brother as well as the history of our chapter.

MUSIC COMMITTEE

The purpose of the Music Committee is to promote and encourage brothers to pursue their love of music through master class presentations, concert attendance, and participation in ensembles.

SERVICE CHAIR

Service is discussed between the Vice President of Service (VPS) and the Service Chair.

"The Service Chair of the Lambda Psi Chapter typically oversees service projects and initiatives within the organization. The Service Chair works directly with the Vice President of Service creating, maintaining, and implementing projects involving organizing community service events, coordinating volunteer efforts, and fostering a culture of service among members." - Niko Morales, Service Chair (Spring 2024)

PUBLIC RELATIONS

PR or Pubs for short. This committee does a lot of the advertising for the chapter, such as social media and flyers for various events like recruitment and fundraisers. Their latest hit is their Executive Council Introduction posts!

BROTHERHOOD

This committee organizes events to have all of the brothers of our chapter spend some quality time together. Events for the Fall 2023 semester included pumpkin painting night, brotherhood picnics, etc.

​PARLIAMENTARIAN

The purpose of this chair is to aid the Sargent At Arms with educating brothers with the rules of our fraternity as well as some unique rules in our chapter. The main point of education is aiding in our understanding and application of Roberts rules and our constitution.

C.A.K.E.D.

Culinary and Kitchen Execution Department, or CAKED for short is a committee which aids in providing food to the chapter during special meetings. This committee also aid in obtaining food donations, and using these donations in the setup of concert receptions for all Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band concerts, as well as any requested receptions.
